Pallishwara Mudiva Mahadeva Temple in, Kalakada, Chittoor District (Built 1,000 Years Ago) – Photos Captured on 31st January 2022

The Pallishwara Mudiva Mahadeva Temple (Shiva Temple) was built 1,000 years ago in Kalakada, Chittoor District. It was constructed by the Vaidumbra kings who ruled Kalakada as their capital. In addition to the walls, the temple features a vimana (tower) constructed in the unique architectural style of the Pallavas and Chalukyas. There is no Shiva Lingam inside the temple; however, outside, there is a Nandi sculpture in a unique position. Although this temple is under the protection of the Archaeological Survey of India
